Lewisham Housing Allocation Scheme Policy Review

Closes 14 Feb 2021

Introduction

An allocation scheme is a way of allocating social housing to eligible applicants on the housing register. Residents on the housing register apply for social housing; the allocation scheme determines who should be prioritised and on what grounds.

Council officers are in the process of reviewing Lewisham's current Allocation Scheme and we wish to consult on proposed changes that could be made to improve the Scheme, by making if fairer and more responsive to housing needs in the borough.
