Supported Housing Locality Management Consultation
Overview
Supported Housing Services provide accommodation for people with additional needs, with on-site staff offering support to residents. These services play an important role in supporting residents across Lewisham.
Providers of supported housing commissioned by Lewisham, are required to have systems in place to manage their impact on the local area and to actively engage with community stakeholders. Locality management activities may include monitoring the street for anti-social behaviour, responding to and addressing complaints, and promoting the positive impact of the service to neighbours.
The council is currently standardising the locality management activities that supported housing Providers are required to carry out.
