Improving Services For Children & Young People With Special Educational Needs And/Or Disabilities – Have Your Say!

Closes 15 Sep 2019

Opened 13 Aug 2019

Overview

Lewisham’s first partnership SEND strategy and improvement plan for health, social care and education is due to expire at the end of 2019. We are currently working on a new partnership SEND strategy and improvement plan, which is due to be published in early 2020.

As part of this work, we are seeking feedback to further shape what we want to achieve over the next three years. We want to hear from you as parents of children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities about how Lewisham can improve services across education, health and social care and ensure you have the right support to meet your child’s additional needs.

We plan to hold a further event for parents on the new draft partnership SEND strategy in November/December 2019 (following our first event in June 2019), which will outline our proposed commitments over the next three years.

The closing date for this survey is 15th September 2019.
